Description
Heavy-Duty Steering Upgrade. The Teraflex HD Forged Drag Link and HD Chromoly Tie Rod Kit for 0 to 6-Inch Lift enhances steering durability and performance for off-road vehicles. It replaces factory components that frequently bend or fail under demanding conditions, providing increased strength and improved steering precision. This kit is essential for minimizing front-end shimmy and maintaining proper alignment during intense driving situations.
Construction and Appearance. The drag link features a solid 1.5-inch outer diameter I-beam inspired fully forged design, coated in a durable black e-dip finish to resist corrosion. The tie rod is made from heat-treated 4140 chromoly steel tubing with a 1-5/8-inch outer diameter and 0.275-inch wall thickness, finished with a UV-protected triple-stage powder coat for enhanced corrosion resistance and longevity.
Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward with an estimated labor time of two hours and requires no drilling. It is recommended to have the installation performed or inspected by a certified mechanic to ensure proper fit and function.
Application. Designed specifically for the 2020 to 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT, this kit directly replaces the original drag link and tie rod components for vehicles lifted up to six inches.
