      Engineering. This ring and pinion set from Alloy USA is made for Dana 44 rear axles on 2007-2018 JK Jeep Wranglers. Adding oversized aftermarket tires to a Jeep helps boosts its performance and muscularity for cross-country action, but can cause problems if the final drive ratio is not adjusted. Using factory gearing with aftermarket tires often causes loss of power, overworked engines, and excessive fuel use. Adding a ring and pinion kit matches the new tires to the engine and raises torque, power, and fuel efficiency. These high quality gearing parts are made from 8620 steel, precision cut with Gleason cutting technology. Alloy USA guarantees these components to be free of defects for 5 years from the date of purchase.
