This cold air intake boasts of patented innovations such as the filter-to-housing interface that’s unique to this series. The housing allows the system to sport an incredibly large air filter that’s 9-Inches tall with 7 layers of filtration. It also comes with a see-through window for convenient checking to see if the filter needs changing. In addition, this system has a roto-molded polyethylene tube with a built-in resonance chamber that gets rid of the annoyingly loud air intake noises.
Patented Air Filters. The AFE Momentum Cold Air Intake comes with their patented Pro-GUARD 7 air filter. This air filter is composed of 5 layers of cotton and 2 layers of synthetic media. Combined, they provide 99.7% efficiency in filtration.
CAD-Designed and Dyno-Tuned. Wanting to provide the next-generation in cold air intake technology, the team at AFE developed and fine-tuned the AFE Momentum Cold Air Intake using the latest technology and innovative thinking. This sealed cold-air intake system is built from cross-linked polyethylene to support a smooth and insulated airflow. Even the hardware was engineered for premium quality with stainless steel clamps for every removable part.
Designed for Simple Installation. As with other AFE Cold Air Intake systems, the AFE Momentum GT Pro Guard 7 Cold Air Intake was designed for easy installation. All you’ll need are simple tools from your garage and basic mechanical skills to complete the assembly.
AFE’s 2-Year Warranty. AFE warrants the AFE Momentum GT Pro Guard 7 Cold Air Intake to be free from material and workmanship defects for 2 years. This non-transferrable warranty will be deemed void if damages occurred from unauthorized modification, installation, and neglect.
Not Legal for California. As of the moment, the AFE Momentum GT Pro Guard 7 Cold Air Intake is not CARB-certified. Note that this air intake is not street-legal for use in the state of California and other states adopting California-emission standards.
