Designed to give you the confidence necessary to take on rough conditions, these high quality Yukon Gears will put more power to the ground to compensate for oversized tires ensuring traction over rocks and trail hazards. This Yukon Gear Front and Rear Gear Kit includes top quality bearings, seals, front and rear gears with install kits, and all the accessories needed to install your new ring and pinion set.
Re-Gearing. When you increase the rolling diameter of your tires, the engine has to work twice as hard to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to an increase in fuel consumption and reduced performance. However, by re-gearing your rig to match your new larger tires, you can regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.
Quality Construction. Yukon Ring and Pinon Gears are forged from 8620 triple alloy steel making them especially hardwearing. These components are then heat-treated offering exceptional strength and durability. Finally, these components are precision-machined and triple lapped for smooth engagement of the gear teeth.
Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of Ring and Pinon Gears will require a number of specialized tools, like a bearing press, a dial indicator, and a precision caliper. Professional installation is highly recommended.
