The Weathertech Rear Bump Step USA is a hitch-mounted device designed to shield your vehicle's rear bumper from dents, dings, and scratches caused by distracted or careless drivers. It also functions as a sturdy step, allowing users to safely access elevated areas such as roof racks or vehicle tops. This combination of protection and utility helps preserve your vehicle's appearance while enhancing convenience.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Manufactured in the USA from a proprietary resin material, the Bump Step offers both toughness and flexibility to absorb impacts effectively. The textured finish provides durability and slip resistance, with hardware options including standard plated or theft-deterrent stainless steel pins to securely attach the unit in a 2" receiver hitch.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. The Bump Step inserts directly into any standard 2" receiver hitch and can be adjusted to one of four mounting positions to ensure a secure fit and proper step depth.
_x000D_Warranty. This product is backed by a lifetime limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser and vehicle.
