Description
Heavy-Duty Towing Solution. The Weld-On Class V Trailer Hitch with an 11-1/2-inch drop delivers a strong and reliable connection for towing a wide range of heavy-duty trailers. Designed to be welded directly onto vehicle frames, it provides a durable towing option ideal for 1/2-ton to 1-ton trucks and SUVs.
Construction and Appearance. Made from robust carbon steel, this trailer hitch features a scratch-resistant carbide black powder coat finish. It is further protected by a liquid A-coat applied both inside and out for excellent rust resistance and long-lasting durability. Its adjustable side plates allow accommodation of frame widths from 18 to 60 inches.
Installation. Installing this hitch requires welding the adjustable side plates to the main hitch body. This process is best performed by professionals or those experienced with welding. No drilling or additional hardware is necessary for mounting this hitch.
Warranty. This product includes a limited lifetime warranty along with one-year coverage on finish and parts.
Application. Designed for universal frame compatibility with some adaptations potentially needed. Note that the side plates do not come pre-welded and must be welded during installation to ensure proper fit and function.
