Description
High-Temperature Exhaust Protection. The Titanium Knit Exhaust Sleeve; 4-Inch x 36-Inch offers superior heat resistance designed to protect exhaust components and reduce heat transfer into vehicle cabins. Ideal for larger exhaust pipes, this sleeve accommodates expansion over flanges and sensor threads, making it a practical solution for heat management in automotive exhaust systems.
Construction and Appearance. Made from expertly knitted titanium fibers, the sleeve features excellent thermal durability with a maximum temperature rating of 1800°F and continuous rating of 1382°F. It has a flexible construction allowing expansion up to 1.5 times its original diameter and a metallic, textured surface finish typical of titanium knit materials.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools beyond the included stainless steel locking ties and tie tool. It can be cut to required length and the ends rolled for a secure fit, with no drilling necessary.
Application. Fits universal vehicle applications; some adaptation may be required depending on exhaust configuration and pipe diameter.
