Description
High-Temperature Exhaust Protection. The Titanium Knit Exhaust Sleeve; 4-Inch x 12-Inch is designed to shield exhaust components from extreme heat by containing and managing high temperatures. It is used primarily on larger exhaust pipes, providing a protective barrier that reduces heat transfer to surrounding parts and the vehicle cabin, enhancing safety and durability.
Durable Construction And Design. Made from knitted titanium, this exhaust sleeve resists temperatures up to 1800°F (continuous rating of 1382°F) and features an expandable design allowing up to 1.5 times its normal diameter for ease of installation over flanges and sensor threads. The sleeve can be cut to desired lengths and the ends rolled for a secure fit, offering a lightweight yet effective thermal shield with a distinctive metallic texture.
Simple Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required; the included stainless steel locking ties and locking tie tool enable a secure attachment around exhaust pipes. Its flexibility allows it to fit various pipe sizes and configurations with minimal adjustments.
