Description

The Protect-A-Sleeve; 0.50-Inch x 48-Inch; Titanium is designed to shield plug wires, fuel lines, and hoses from burning, cracking, and heat damage caused by engine and exhaust heat. It is used in automotive and powersports applications where exposure to very high temperatures risks damage to critical components, ensuring durability and reliable operation under harsh conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The sleeve is constructed from titanium material enhanced with proprietary LR Technology? to resist direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2500°F. The product has a durable, water-resistant finish and comes in a natural titanium texture, offering both high performance and a professional appearance suitable for visible engine bay parts.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling or complex modifications. The sleeve easily fits over wires and hoses, with heat shrink tubes included to secure and seal the sleeve ends for a clean installation.
Application. This product fits universally though some adaptation may be required depending on individual vehicle configurations and wire or hose diameters.
