The Hi-Temp Shrink Tube; 6mm x 50-Foot is designed to provide excellent electrical insulation and protection for wiring in demanding automotive environments. It is ideal for insulating wires, splices, connections, and terminals, helping to guard them against dirt, dust, solvents, and other contaminants, while providing strain relief to extend the life of electrical systems.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from professional grade, military specification flexible polyolefin, this tubing has a smooth finish and is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -67°F to 275°F. The tubing features an over-expanded form that shrinks to one-third of its original diameter without shortening in length, ensuring a tight, water-resistant seal.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring a heat gun to apply temperatures between 120°F and 180°F for proper shrinking. No drilling or complex modifications are needed, making it suitable for professional and enthusiast use alike.

      Application. Fits universal wiring applications with some adaptation possibly required depending on specific fitment needs. Note that the tubing must not be applied directly onto exhaust components to avoid damage.
