      Description

      High-Temperature Heat Barrier. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II; 42-Inch x 48-Inch; Aluminum is engineered to provide superior thermal protection by reflecting and insulating against extreme heat sources in automotive environments. It is ideal for protecting interiors, components, and electronics from damaging heat intrusion in critical vehicle areas such as firewalls and transmission tunnels.

      Construction and Appearance. This shield features a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, delivering a lightweight yet durable thermal barrier. The aluminum surface offers enhanced heat reflection and rigidity, finished in an embossed pattern, while the backing uses a unique patented finely woven glass-fiber for strength and thermal resistance.

      Installation. The product is designed for straightforward application requiring minimal modification and no drilling. It can be cut and shaped to fit tight spaces with ease, facilitating an efficient installation process.

      Application. Fits universal applications where heat protection is needed, with some adaptation required depending on the specific vehicle or area of installation. Note that it should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
