The 2-Inch Receiver Weight Distribution Hitch Shank with an 8-3/4-Inch Drop is designed to provide a versatile mounting option for various weight distribution hitches. It improves towing stability by allowing adjustment of the head height and redistributing trailer weight, which helps level the vehicle and trailer. This component is essential for safe and controlled towing when matched with appropriate spring bar capacities.

      Construction and Appearance. Built from solid steel, this shank offers dependable strength and durability for tough towing conditions. It is finished with a carbide black powder coat that protects against corrosion and wear, ensuring a long service life while maintaining a professional, sleek appearance.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, fitting directly into a 2" x 2" hitch receiver tube with a standard 5/8" hitch pin hole. Its multiple mounting holes allow for easy height adjustments to accommodate different towing setups.

      Warranty. This product includes a limited lifetime warranty with one year coverage on finish and parts.

      Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation possibly required. Note that this shank is not designed for use in the rise position and is limited by spring bar capacity.
