Effective Heat And Noise Control. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat (48-Inch x 48-Inch) is designed to reduce excessive heat and noise entering the vehicle’s interior. It is applied in key areas such as the driver compartment, firewall, and transmission housings to enhance comfort and driver experience.

This mat consists of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation positioned between a reflective Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The FSK acts as a vapor and radiant barrier while the foil facing conducts heat, providing optimal protection. The material has a dual-density texture with a thickness of approximately one-half inch.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. The Cool-It Mat is easy to trim for a custom fit and installs with supplied push-in fasteners or weatherstrip adhesive. No drilling or complex modifications are required for installation, making it accessible for most users.
