      Description

      Effective Heat and Noise Barrier. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, 24-Inch x 50-Foot, is designed to significantly reduce excessive heat and noise infiltration in vehicle compartments including the driver compartment, firewall, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings. This mat improves driver comfort by providing thermal insulation and sound dampening in areas prone to heat penetration and noise transmission.

      Construction and Appearance. The mat features resin-bonded silica blanket insulation sandwiched between a highly reflective foil-skrim-kraft (FSK) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. This combination delivers radiant vapor barrier properties as well as sound insulation, and presents a durable foil finish that reflects radiant heat and conducts penetrating heat for optimal protection.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward using the included push-in fasteners or weather strip adhesive for secure mounting. No special tools or drilling are necessary, making installation accessible for most users.
