The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, measuring 24 inches by 50 feet, delivers reliable insulation against excessive heat and noise penetration in vehicle compartments. It is ideal for application on firewalls, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings to improve comfort and overall vehicle performance.

      Construction And Appearance. This mat consists of a core of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation positioned between a reflective FSK (Foil Skrim Kraft) facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The FSK serving as both a vapor and radiant heat barrier, while the foil facing helps conduct heat across the surface. The mat is approximately one-half inch thick and features a reflective metallic finish.

      Installation. Installation is simple and user-friendly, utilizing the included push-in fasteners or weather strip adhesive to hold the mat securely in place. No drilling or specialized tools are required.
