Description

This kit is ideal for improving safety and control, particularly for heavy-laden overland rigs or those fitted with 33 to 42-inch tires, addressing the demands of rugged and challenging driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The system features calipers constructed with heat-treated 4140 cast steel bridges paired with 6061-T6 forged aluminum piston housings for exceptional stiffness and durability. Pistons have a hard-chrome finish to reduce friction and improve performance. All components feature corrosion-resistant zinc and E-dipped coatings. Massive 14-inch vented rotors are heat-treated cast iron, mill-balanced, slotted, and vented for superior heat dissipation. Composite-resin semi-metallic pads provide consistent stopping power with reduced dust and noise.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and an estimated labor time of approximately four hours. This is a 100% bolt-on upgrade that requires only basic hand tools and no drilling, making it suitable for experienced DIY installers or professional mechanics.
