Description
Securely Mounts Large Tires. If you do a lot of driving off-road, you will need the Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit to keep your spare tire fastened to your Jeep Wrangler JK—just in case you need it. Solidly manufactured and able to accommodate tires of up to 35 inches in diameter, this kit uses the factory tailgate hinge mounting points to spread the tire’s load over a larger area to maximize securement.
Robustly Manufactured for Longevity. This heavily gusseted tire mounting kit is formed and welded from CNC laser-cut steel to ensure its durability through the harshest of driving conditions. And each part sports a black powder coat to keep rust away.
Covered by Lifetime Limited Warranty. TeraFlex Inc. warrants this tire mounting kit to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own the Wrangler on which it was installed.
Medium-Level Installation. No drilling nor aftermarket bumper purchase is required to install this tire mounting kit, which can be done with regular hand tools within an hour.
Application. The Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit is designed for all 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. It is sold as a kit.
Technical Note. This Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit requires the use of aftermarket 8x6.5-inch Wheels with a backspacing of 5 inches or less.
