It also provides significant weight reduction by eliminating the tire carrier for better steering and rearward visibility.
Reliable Toughness. This delete plate exhibits reliable durability that can stand against corrosive attacks, chipping, scratching, and fading. Steinjager used a high-quality 1/8-inch thick steel plate, reinforced with a Pinky powder-coat finish for an added layer of protection.
Quick Installation. Steinjager designed this delete plate for a simple installation that reuses the factory bolts. It fits perfectly well into the Jeep’s tailgate and installs in about 30 minutes with light mechanical skills.
One-Year Limited Warranty. Steinjager warrants the original purchaser a one-year limited warranty for this Spare Tire Carrier Delete Plate against factory defects in materials and workmanship. Some exclusions may apply as indicated in the manufacturer’s warranty guide.
