Steer Smarts designed this tie rod assembly to facilitate enhanced handling, especially when rolling on rugged trails. Moreover, it lets you conquer the rocky terrains with assurance that your tie rod will not bend as it is built to handle high off-road impacts.
Long-Lasting All-Terrain Toughness. Built for heavy-duty use, this YETI XD Tie Rod Assembly can handle high-stress driving conditions and durably manage various off-road obstacles. The adjuster tube is fabricated using high-strength Chromoly steel tubing. It also includes RH and LH jam nuts for securing the connections. The ball joins feature Cold-headed medium carbon alloy steel ball studs and steel on steel bearings. Additionally, the tie rod ends are forged from medium carbon high hardenability steel and heat-treated for superior fatigue strength.
Bolt-On Installation. Steer Smarts engineered this YETI XD Tie Rod Assembly with a bolt-on design. It is fittingly configured for proper clearance to other chassis components to eliminate interferences. The bolt-on installation completes with light to moderate mechanical skills.
