Description
Heavy Duty Steering Component. The Steer Smarts YETI XD Drag Link; No-Drill Top Mount delivers a strong and durable steering linkage solution for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models. This drag link improves steering performance with a no-drill installation method, bolting directly onto factory mounting points to accommodate high steer setups without modifying the knuckle.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from forged medium carbon high hardenability steel and heat-treated for superior strength, the drag link utilizes cold-headed, induction heat-treated ball joints for increased impact toughness and fatigue resistance. A powder coat over an e-coat finish ensures lasting protection against harsh environmental conditions.
Installation. Installation typically takes about 1.5 hours and requires moderate mechanical skill. The no-drill top mount design eliminates the need for knuckle modification. Note that a minimum lift height of 4.5 to 5 inches and correct bump stops are necessary for proper clearance and geometry. Additionally, a track bar relocation bracket is required when flipping the draglink. This product is not compatible with OEM 17-inch wheels or OEM-style offset/backspacing without the use of higher offset wheels or spacers.
Warranty. The product includes a limited lifetime warranty for long-term reliability and peace of mind.
Application. Specifically fits 2020 through 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models. Note that minimum lift height and correct bump stops are required for top mount applications to ensure proper clearance and geometry.
