Description
Tough Hitch Step and Tow Point. Most aftermarket hitch steps are single purpose as the name implies and necessitates removal of that step whenever you actually have to tow something, even temporarily. This Smittybilt Beaver 2 in. Receiver Hitch Step is not only a solid durable hitch step, it's also a strong tow strap point which you can use any aftermarket tow strap and secure it on to the hitch step. It has a design for a secure mount that prevents the strap from slipping for short distance towing in a pinch. The arrowhead design also adds an interesting design element to the otherwise empty tow receiver in the back of your Jeep.
Tough Off-Road Construction. This Beaver hitch step is made from an extremely heavy duty carbon steel that is hammer forged for increased strength and durability. It has the capacity to pull up to 10,000 lbs at the tow strap point. It is powder coated in a high-gloss black finish to protect it from rust and corrosion and for a cleaner appearance.
Simple to Mount. This hitch step mounts like any other hitch accessory on your 2" receiver. Simply slide it in and secure with your existing clevis pin. No tools or superhuman strength needed.
Application. The Smittybilt Beaver 2 in. Receiver Hitch Step fits all 1966-2024 Jeep CJ and Wrangler Models.
