Description. On the Wrangler TJ, coil springs and shocks are primary determining factors in ride quality and suspension performance. Skyjacker 2-Stage Variable Rate Springs deliver a smooth controlled comfortable ride. First Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex\expand during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount\bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. Second Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past Flex Rate. Skyjacker ADX 2.0 Adventure Series Remote Reservoir Aluminum Monotube Shocks deliver modern technology with an innovative full-displaced valving system. The large 46mm bore size of the Monotube and remote reservoir reacts quicker and creates the smoothest ride possible. The external remote reservoir separates the nitrogen gas from the oil with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP). The majority of the reservoir contains pressurized nitrogen gas. The IFP prevents the gas and oil from mixing or foaming (cavitation). Nitrogen charged with IFP Technology = Quickest Shock Reaction Time EverFront and Rear Value Flex Lower Links adjustability allows proper caster settings to improve handling. Formed from 2-inch OD x 0.250 wall DOM tubing with pressed-in OEM style steel encased rubber bushings at the frame and the axle mount has Rock Jock’s 1-1/4-inch forged Johnny Joints. These Johnny Joints provide over 30 degrees of unrestricted Flex movement in any direction. A Transfer Case Lowering Kit corrects rear driveshaft angle.
