The Shocker Hitch 14K Air Ride Hitch and Black Combo Sway Bar Tab Ball Mount for 2.50-inch Receiver Hitch; 0.50 to 4.50-inch Drop offers a smooth and safer towing experience by cushioning road shock and absorbing bumps with its built-in air ride system. Used between a pickup and trailer, it reduces jerks, tugs, and sway for enhanced control and comfort, especially on rough or uneven roads.

      Construction and Appearance. This receiver hitch is constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel with 5/16-inch thick side plates and a top plate. It features a rocker arm pivot design with a robust 1-inch diameter heat-treated carbon steel pivot bolt fitted with a grease zerk for maintenance. The base frame has a safety red powder-coat finish to provide impact resistance and durability.

      Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward with no drilling required, fitting standard 2 or 2-1/2-inch receiver tubes and secured by hitch pins included in the kit. The air bag must be compressed during installation to fit properly, and air pressure is adjusted using the accessible side-mounted valve.
