Description
Air Ride Suspension. The Shocker Hitch 14K Air Ride Hitch and Black Combo Sway Bar Tab Ball Mount for 2-Inch Receiver Hitch; 0.50 to 4.50-Inch Drop provides a built-in air ride system that cushions road shocks, tugs, jerks, and bumps for a smoother and safer towing experience. Designed for use with pickups and trailers, it allows users to adjust air pressure for different load conditions, reducing trailer sway and enhancing ride comfort.
Construction and Appearance. This hitch features heavy-duty 5/16? thick carbon steel side plates with an impact-resistant red powder coat finish on the base frame. The combo ball mount is black with integrated sway bar tabs for mounting friction sway control arms. The center pivot bolt is a heat-treated 1? diameter 1045 carbon steel bolt with a grease zerk for easy maintenance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, fitting securely into standard 2? or 2 1/2? receiver hitch tubes with two hitch pin holes for adjustability. It is compatible with most pickup trucks and SUVs where the receiver is mounted under the bumper.
Warranty. The product is backed by a manufacturer warranty ensuring quality and reliability.
Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required for specific vehicle configurations. Not compatible with weight distribution hitches and designed primarily for use with mini ball-style friction sway control bars. It is recommended to use one sway control kit for towing under 10,000 lbs and two kits for towing over 10,000 lbs.
