Description
Optimize Your Drive Train. Optimize the drive train of your lifted Wrangler with the Rough Country CV Rear Driveshaft for a 4 to 6-Inch Lift. Giving your Jeep a lift will inadvertently change your steering geometry, which can in turn cause issues in the future including increased vibrations and even breakage. This CV rear driveshaft is longer than stock allowing it to compensate for the change in steering geometry that accompanies a 4 to 6 lift. This all but eliminates any vibrations from occurring. Additionally, this driveshaft is much stronger than the shaft so you don’t have to worry about breakage when you’re out on the trails.
Hardwearing Build Quality. This CV rear driveshaft features a collapsed length of 15.50 inches and an extended length of 19 inches, making it more than ideal for your newly improved ground clearance. More importantly, this driveshaft is constructed from high-quality steel using an advanced machining technique to offer a precise fit and consistent performance.
Extended Service Life. The driveshaft’s U-joints are equipped with high-quality Viton rubber seals to maintain proper lubrication. This driveshaft also undergoes a unique hardening process to further improve strength so you don’t have to worry about breakage when you’re out on the trails.
Application. This Rough Country CV Rear Driveshaft for 4 to 6-Inch Lift fits all 1987 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models, all 1997 to 2002 2.5L Jeep Wrangler TJ models with automatic transmissions, and all 2005 to 2006 2.4L Jeep Wrangler TJ models with manual transmissions, excluding Rubicons.
