Description
Steering Geometry Correction. The Rough Country Suspension Drop Pitman Arm for 4-inch lifts restores proper steering geometry after lifting your Jeep. It realigns the draglink and maintains the vehicle’s original turning radius, helping ensure safer and more responsive steering. This component is essential to minimize vibrations and uneven steering behavior caused by suspension lift modifications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty materials, the drop pitman arm is built to withstand the demands of lifted off-road use. Its robust construction ensures long-term durability and performance. The finish features a corrosion-resistant textured coating to enhance lifespan and reliability.
Installation. Basic mechanical skills are required, and installation generally takes 2 to 3 hours. No drilling is necessary; however, a heavy-duty pitman arm puller is recommended to safely remove the factory unit.
Application. This drop pitman arm fits Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ models from 1999 through 2004 equipped with 4-inch suspension lift kits. It is not compatible with stock suspension heights or lifts of other sizes.
