      Description

Rock Krawler 4.5" T-REX ELITE PRO COILOVER Suspension System for Jeep Wrangler JL (Gas Models)
The Rock Krawler Suspension T-Rex ELITE PRO Hybrid Long-arm Systems are the absolute best combination of on-road ride/handling and off-road ability you can get for your Wrangler JL 2 Door when keeping the gas tank in the stock location. Don’t shoot the messenger here, but Jeep killed the availability of putting full long-arm systems in the front end of 2018 and newer 2 door applications due to the new fuel tanks that go up and over the crossmember all the way to the OEM front lower control arm mount on the frame. We promise it was not our idea! This vary fact is what made us create the Hybrid T-Rex System. The "PRO ELITE" signifies you are entering the realm of PB&J (PURE BEEF AND JEALOUSY) by purchasing a system that is outfitted with 4 BILLET ALUMINUM CNC MACHINED SERVICE FREE lower control arms in a long-arm length! This is as good as it gets; absolute strength, paired with a maintenance free peace of mind will have you blasting down any trail in America! The T-Rex is a full mid-arm front setup with our tried and true ultra 3 link long-arm rear conversion. This gives you the absolute best possible combination to enhance your 2 Door Wrangler Off-Road. The stock front suspension geometry on JL/JLU applications is really not terrible and is workable. The rear suspension geometry being a parallel 4 link with a track bar (i.e. 5 link rear) is really where the lack luster performance comes into play. This suspension arrangement naturally binds causing jacking when being tasked to perform off road. The Rock Krawler ultra 3 link with track bar removes the natural binding of stock rear suspension 100% allowing for ultra smooth suspension motion in the rear without jacking. A night and day difference. You also get the benefit of X2 rear suspension geometry gaining 4.5” of ground clearance under the rear axle without losing a single centimeter of rear shock travel! The rear roll center is raised significantly to further enhance handling and reduce side to side axle shifting while off-road. Make no compromise suspension geometry wise is our motto and T-Rex is no exception. All T-Rex control arms feature our exceptionally proven Adventure Series Joints for years of maintenance free use!
The Comp System (Front Coilovers w/ Rear Coil Combination) is ideal for those that want the adjustability and performance of coilover racing shocks up front, but still want to use their Wrangler to carry small loads or tow small trailers. There are two options for the Comp Systems you can choose from. The standard or Stage 1 System features 2 5/8" RRD Racing Coilovers w/ Remote Reservoirs up front paired with matching 2 5/8" RRD Racing Shocks w/ Remote Reservoirs in the rear for a well tuned package. Or you can opt for the Stage 2 Comp System which will include Fast CD (Compression Dampening) Adjusters on the coilovers and rear shocks for an even greater level of tuneability.
The Trail Runner System (Front and Rear Coilover Combination) is ideal for those that want the adjustability and performance of coilover racing shocks at all 4 corners. This combination maximizes the off road ability of your Wrangler and comes well tuned for the street. Rear coilovers perform amazing off road, but do not take changes in loading conditions too well so towing or adding a lot of weight to the bed area is not optimal for rear coilovers. The standard or Stage 1 System features 2 5/8" RRD Racing Coilovers w/ Remote Reservoirs front and for a well tuned package. Or you can opt for the Stage 2 Trail Runner System which will include Fast CD (Compression Dampening) Adjusters on the coilovers for an even greater level of tuneability.
Like all of our systems, amazingly tuned ride and handling is our number one priority! It is no different with our coilover systems. Coilovers add another level of tuneability for the vehicle owner to further enhance the ride, handling and off road performance to their liking. Install exceptional value, and be the foundation for every adventure whether it be on the Street or on the Trail with a Rock Krawler Coilover Suspension System! Thank you for considering Rock Krawler Suspension.
