It gives you the benefit of sliding the crossbars along the Backbone mounting system to accordingly adjust for various loads. In addition, the base and leg allow for 33 degrees of swivel to suit the tracks mounted on the contoured curve surface. This rack system is also equipped with a lockable cover plate to guard the locking mechanism for added security.
