This kit includes ring and pinion gears for the front and rear axles, resulting in a gear ratio of 4.88. This lower ratio works to give your truck extra low-end torque for the trails and improved cruising speed for the highway. This way, you can take your truck out on an off-road adventure, straight from making an errand run.

      Make the Most Out of Your Tires Through Re-Gearing. One definite reason to consider re-gearing is so you can run larger off-road tires without issues. Running larger tires on your truck can inevitably result in performance and fuel economy problems, as well as issues regarding gearing if you’re driving an automatic. This is because your stock ring and pinion gears are just not equipped to handle the off-road tires’ added mass. Re-gearing with this kit essentially restores your truck to near factory performance levels but with extra low-end torque.

      Rigid Build Quality. This kit’s ring and pinion gears are constructed from 8620 steel before being heat treated to OEM specifications. These components are then finished to precise tolerances. This procedure ensures you get a set of exceptionally strong gears that also offer consistent performance.
