Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the RedRock 4x4 Deep Woods Grille in Matte Black, fitting all 2020 and newer Gladiator JTs. So, if you are looking for a very affordable and very easy way to drastically change the look of the front end of your Gladiator, this grille is going to do a great job at that. Now, this is going to completely switch up the styling with a grille that is a lot more aggressive and stands out a lot more than the factory one. Now, this is gonna be great for anybody who is looking to change the aesthetic and is looking for something that's going to make their Gladiator look very aggressive when it comes to the front end. Now, this is gonna have an aggressive brow right up at the top and it's going to get rid of those traditional seven slots. So, if you don't really care for the seven slots and you're looking for something that looks a little bit more dynamic, then this one is going to be right up your alley. Now, this is also gonna be pretty durable made of an ABS construction, it will be paintable. So, if you'd like to keep it this matte black color for a nice contrast, you can totally do that, or if you'd like to color match it to your color code or really any other color that you have in mind, you can do that as well. And it's gonna come with everything that you need in order to install including all new hardware for the clips, and the retainer clips, and a new hood seal to make sure that this has an OEM style fit. Now, like I mentioned for a mod that's going to completely change the look of the front end of your Gladiator, this is going to be very affordable coming in at roughly $150. Now, in comparison to some other options available for grilles, a lot of them are really going to differ when it comes to the overall styling. So, the styling comes down to your personal preference in the design. A lot of the time they just switch it up when it comes to the center where the slots are or where the actual air is going through the grille. So, that design changes a lot. Some choices just have a cutout for a screen. Some other options available on the page may not be for a full grille like this, they may just complement the factory grille like a drop-in screen or something like that, or a brow that just attaches to the top of the factory grille. Now, my personal opinion, I think, again, if you're looking for a drastic change, if you're looking for an aggressive look for the front end of your Gladiator at a very affordable price and with something that's incredibly easy to do, then this is going to be right up your alley. Now, as far as install is concerned, I'm gonna give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're gonna need a couple of basic hand tools to get the job done and no longer than an hour's worth of your time. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tools that I used for my install were a Phillips head screwdriver and a trim removal tool. So, the first step through our install is to pop our hood and then we can remove our grille using a trim removal tool and remove the six clips that are holding on the top of our grille. Now, using a clip removal tool or a flathead screwdriver, we can then just go ahead and remove all the clips that are holding on the top of the grille. So, at this point, all we need to do is lift up on either side and pull back. Now, on some Gladiators, especially on the Rubicons, you may have a camera right up front in this center slot here, just make sure that the wiring harness is disconnected on the back and then you can go ahead and just give it a good pull and completely remove the grille. So, before we hop into the install, I do wanna stop down and tell you guys a little bit more about this new grille next to our factory one and show you some of the similarities and differences between the two. Now, starting off is a brief overview of our factory grille. As you can see here, this is going to have the traditional stock styling that you would see on a Gladiator or on a Jeep Wrangler. We're going to have the traditional seven slots in the middle, we're also going to have a non-intimidating look. Considering that this is not going to have an angry eyebrow like a lot of aftermarket options, this is gonna have the nice honeycomb insert in each of the grille slots. That's going to provide a little bit of extra protection to the components that are sitting behind the grille, especially those cooling components like the radiator and AC condenser. And we're also going to have that color match look to the rest of the paint and the rest of the color code on the gladiator. Now, moving over to this new choice, this is going to completely switch it up when it comes to the styling. As we can see right in the middle here, we're gonna get rid of the seven slots taking a non-traditional approach to the grille itself. This is going to give it more of an aggressive and intimidating look, especially paired with the brow up top. Now, we are also going to get a ton of angles within the grille, again, giving you that aggressive styling. Now, what I will say is that this is going to be made of an injection-molded ABS plastic material. This is going to hold up and be durable while it is sitting on the front of your Gladiator, and it's gonna come in this nice matte black finish. Now, the matte black is also going to be paintable as well. So, if you'd like to match it to your factory color code or if you would like to paint it a different color, you can totally do that or you can leave it this nice flat black that you see here, giving a nice contrast to the color on your Gladiator right now. Now, this is also gonna come with everything that you need in order to install it, which is going to have a factory style fit, we're going to have the wings over on the side to make sure that it attaches on the corners, we're going to get a nice seal up at the top to make sure that it seals to the hood and all of the miscellaneous hardware to make sure that it is going to have that factory style fit. So, what do you say we go ahead and put it together and get it on our Gladiator? So, before we head over to the Jeep, we do have to do a couple of things to our grille in order to attach it to the Jeep. We have to install our retainer clips for the tabs down at the bottom, and then we're also going to install our little wings or mounts over on each side. This is just going to make sure that the corners attach. So, for this, you are gonna need a Phillips head screwdriver. So, aligning up this little wing on the outside, we're gonna have three attachment points. You wanna make sure that the curve is towards the inside. We can take the Phillips head screwdriver and the provided screws. And I'm just gonna get this started through the grille, and then we can put it into our little wing here. Make sure that lines up correctly. Now we're gonna have two more, then we can just repeat this process on the other side as well. Now, you're gonna have to put a decent amount of pressure because these are self-tapping screws, so they're just gonna go through this plastic here. And then same for the other side. What we can do next is take our retainer clips and just add them to the tabs by just firmly pressing down. What we can do at this point is line up our grille with the tabs down at the bottom and we can give it a good push. Now we can use our new hardware provided in the kit, line this up and snap our clips into place. Now, since the grille is ABS, it may have a very tight fit at first, especially with these new clips. So, our last step is just to attach our hood seal. Sometimes it's a little bit easier to do it while the grille is on the Jeep so you can align it with the hood and also stationary you don't have to worry about it moving on the table. So, what I'm gonna do is just peel back this 3M backing and then we can align it on the grille here. And this is just gonna go right up at the top and will pretty much just lay flat. All right. Just give it a good press and then what we can do is close up our hood and that will help with the adhesion process. And then really, we'll be all set to go.So, that is going to wrap it up for my review and install. Make sure you like and subscribe for more videos and products just like this.
