Heavy-Duty Rotor Construction. The brake rotors that come with this kit are crafted from G3000-grade cast iron for long-lasting durability and feature precision-machined round slots. These PowerStop Evolution rotors are also mill-balanced to guarantee a perfect fit and eliminate any noise and unwanted vibrations. In addition, these rotors come with a long-lasting protective finish that helps resist rust and corrosion.
Slotted Rotors With Non-Directional Surface. The slots in these PowerStop Evolution rotors are designed to clear away brake dust, debris, and moisture. This results in cleaner rotor contact surface for a stronger “bite” of the brake pad. In addition, these rotors are also vented to facilitate better heat dissipation. Meanwhile, the non-directional surface lessens brake pad squealing and pedal vibrations. It also ensures a more even wear and helps reduce incidences of brake fade (loss of braking power).
