      Electronic Performance Distributor. The PerTronix Flame-Thrower Electronic Distributor with Vacuum Advance; Female Terminals; Black is engineered to replace traditional ignition distributors with a reliable electronic system for enhanced spark delivery and timing consistency. It is used to improve starting, fuel efficiency, and overall engine performance by delivering a strong, steady spark throughout the engine�s RPM range.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from precision CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the housing provides exceptional strength while remaining lightweight. Each distributor is hand polished and buffed to a high gloss finish, featuring a tempered distributor shaft designed for minimal torsion displacement. The assembly includes an upper ball bearing and an extended oil-impregnated bronze lower bushing to reduce friction and enhance stability, especially at high RPM.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special modifications or drilling, making it a direct, plug-and-play upgrade for compatible engines. The design supports easy fitment and adjustment for both novice and experienced technicians.

      Warranty. This distributor is backed by a 30-month warranty on the Ignitor II ignition module and a 1-year mechanical warranty on the billet distributor body.
