Description
Get Connected. While there are many moving parts to a Jeep Wrangler’s suspension, one of the most important is the inner axle, as it connects the differential to the hub. Unfortunately, this important part is prone to breaking under extreme conditions, so replacing it with a superior part is recommended for serious off-road situations. The Nitro Gear & Axle 30 Spline Dana 44 Inner Axle Shaft - Right Side is a direct OE replacement axle that is an excellent replacement over the stock unit, as it is built strong to last long.
Inner Axle. The inner axle shaft is constructed from 4340 chromoly steel and is CNC precision-machined and heat-treated with extra material to provide a 20-30-percent increase in strength over the stock unit while providing excellent fitment. The axle fits Dana 44 type differentials and has 30 splines for a direct fit.
Moderate Installation. The axle can be installed in about 2 hours by any qualified mechanic shop.
