      Description

      Performance Distributor. The MSD Pro Billet Distributor delivers precise trigger signals essential for reliable ignition in AMC V8 engines. It improves performance and drivability while supporting street cruising and rock crawling. Designed to work exclusively with MSD 6, 7, or 8-series ignition controls, it ensures accurate timing and ignition stability.

      Construction and Appearance. Featuring a precision CNC-machined billet aluminum housing with an oversized steel shaft coated with QPQ for corrosion resistance and reduced friction, this distributor offers durability and a professional finish. The sealed ball-bearing and long sintered bushing provide enhanced stability at all engine speeds.

      Installation. The distributor installs easily without any drilling required. It comes with an HEI-style cap and rotor for direct replacement and straightforward setup.

      Warranty. Comes with a manufacturer’s limited 1-year warranty.

      Application. Fits AMC V8 290, 304, 343, 360, 390, and 401 engine applications. It is also compatible with the 1976-1981 5.0L Jeep CJ7, among other vehicles using these engines.
