      Description

      Standard Replacement Cable. Replace the parking brake on your Wrangler and help your Jeep remain firmly in position whenever you park using this replacement cable. The cable is sized and designed to fit 1976-1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 vehicles. The cable is moderately difficult to install, but it can be replaced at home by skilled users with a bit of experience working with brake systems.

      Coated Steel Cable. This rugged cable is made from a steel wire for maximum strength. The brake cable is protected by rubber sheathing that keeps moisture off the steel wire for long-term performance. When installed properly, this cable should last many years without wearing significantly.

      Medium Installation Process. The parking cable is moderately difficult to install and takes approximately two hours to install. It’s recommended to have a garage do the work, but a home user can replace this part without many specialized tools.

      5-Year Limited Warranty. This replacement brake cable has a 5-year limited warranty. This warranty protects against defects specifically.

      Application. This replacement brake cable fits 1976-1986 CJ5 and CJ7 Jeep vehicles without any modifications.
