Description
A Direct Replacement. Though your Wrangler’s stock hood is designed to withstand the rough and tumble of trail driving, it’s not invincible. Heavy impacts can compromise the integrity of your hood, meaning you need to find a replacement to ensure your engine bay is protected. Sherman delivers just that with its Jeep Wrangler OE Hood. Arriving unpainted, meaning it's ready for customization, this hood follows OEM specifications and is certified as a direct replacement part for your original hood.
Powerful and Sturdy. Made using the same quality of impact-resistant steel as your original hood, this replacement hood can withstand the minor impacts that come with trail driving. Though it’s unpainted, the hood does have an EDP base coating that protects it from the rusting and corrosive effects of rain, sleet, snow, and environmental toxins.
Direct Installation. You don’t need to drill any holes into your vehicle or make complex modifications to fit this hood. It slots into your Wrangler’s factory mounts, even using the same mounting hardware as your stock hood.
Guaranteed for Life. You don’t have to worry about the hood not doing its job thanks to Sherman’s limited lifetime warranty. The part is guaranteed to have no mechanical or material faults for the entire period of your ownership. You cannot transfer this warranty to another person or vehicle.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler OE Hood is designed as a direct replacement for the hoods installed on Jeep Wrangler TJ vehicles made between 1997-2006.
Installation Difficulty. Some automotive knowledge is needed to properly fit this part, placing installation at the intermediate level. The hood takes between 1-2 hours to fit, depending on your experience level.
