It reflects radiant heat up to 800°F, keeping critical components cool and flexible in demanding automotive environments, increasing durability and reliability.

Construction and Appearance. This heat shroud features a high-temperature gold metalized polyamide material bonded to a 20 oz heat-treated glass fiber base. The gold metalized polyamide layer provides excellent radiant heat reflection, while aramid thread reinforcement enhances heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame-retardant performance. The product’s finish is a distinctive gold metallic color, highlighting its premium build and heat reflective properties.

Installation. Installation is quick and tool-free, requiring no removal of lines or hoses. Simply cut the shroud to the desired length, slide it over the component, and secure with the built-in hook-and-loop closure for an adjustable fit.
