Heat Shield Protection. The Heat Sheath GOLD, 0.75-Inch x 36-Inch, protects lines, hoses, and wires from heat and abrasion damage in high-temperature environments. It reflects radiant heat up to 800°F to keep critical components cool, helping maintain performance and longevity in demanding automotive applications.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This sleeving is made from high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination securely bonded to a durable 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base material. It is reinforced with aramid thread to enhance durability, heat resistance, and flame-retardant performance. The metallic gold finish has a textured surface that effectively reflects heat.
