Description
Reflective Heat Barrier. The Heat Screen GOLD 36-Inch x 40-Inch is designed to prevent heat from engines and exhaust systems from intruding into vehicle interiors and sensitive components. It offers effective heat protection to help maintain cool and safe conditions for critical parts in demanding automotive environments.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This product consists of a high temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base. The resulting heat shield is durable and approximately 0.031 inches thick, capable of reflecting heat up to 800°F and withstanding radiant heat exposure up to 1100°F.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is simple and can be accomplished by mechanically fastening the shield or applying a high-temperature adhesive, requiring no special tools or complex modifications.
_x000D_Application. This heat screen is designed for universal fitment, although some customization or adaptation may be necessary depending on the installation environment and vehicle specifics. It is not intended for direct contact with exhaust components.
