Heat Shield Solution. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II, measuring 42-Inch x 48-Inch in black, is engineered to effectively block engine and exhaust heat from entering vehicle interiors. This product offers a flexible, durable, and easy-to-install option for heat management in various automotive applications, protecting sensitive components and maintaining cabin comfort.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The shield features a proprietary high temperature black coating for a sleek finish and enhanced heat control. It is constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core and backed with a high temperature resistant, super strong pressure sensitive adhesive backing. The overall thickness is only 3/16", allowing minimal clearance requirements while delivering robust heat resistance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with the peel-and-stick adhesive backing that adheres securely without the need for drilling. The product is flexible and can be easily shaped and trimmed to fit firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and various surfaces.
