      Description

      Weight Distribution System. The 2-Inch Short Trunnion Bar Weight Distribution Receiver Hitch; 8,000 to 10,000 lb. is designed to enhance towing safety and stability by leveling the tow vehicle and trailer. By redistributing tongue weight across axles, it improves control and handling during towing, making it essential for heavier trailers and travel trailers.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted with forged steel, the hitch features durable 28-3/8" trunnion-style spring bars and a heavy-duty formed head that can be finely adjusted for leveling. The entire assembly is finished with a protective carbide black powder coat, offering resistance to scratching, chipping, rust, and UV damage for a long-lasting professional look.

      Installation. Installation is moderately straightforward and does not typically require drilling. The design includes hookup brackets and a lift handle to simplify securing and leveraging the spring bars during setup.

      Warranty. This hitch comes backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering one year on the finish and parts.

      Application. Fits universally with some adaptation possible; suitable for Class 3, 4, and most 5 trailer hitches, including Xtra Duty and Commercial Duty models, although a 2-1/2" replacement WD shank may be required for certain applications.
