      Description

      Vacuum Gauge Functionality. The vacuum gauge monitors engine vacuum levels to ensure optimal engine performance by detecting air leaks that can cause rough idling, poor fuel economy, and increased emissions. It mechanically reads vacuum from 0 to -30 inHG and is installed by attaching the included hose and T-fitting to a vacuum line on the intake manifold.

      Construction and Appearance. The gauge features a two-tone gunmetal body with a brushed aluminum trim ring and a low-profile magnified tinted lens. The 52mm analog dial has a black face with a red illuminated needle and white LED backlighting that dims 30% when connected to the factory headlight switch for improved nighttime visibility.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling as the vacuum hose and T-fitting connect directly to an existing intake manifold vacuum line. Mounting hardware is included for secure placement.
