Merideth: Hey guys. So today we're checking out the Prevail Series Mounting Brackets with the Upper and Lower Light Mounts, fitting all 2020 and newer JT Gladiators. So if you're looking to optimize your front-end light output and need a solid dual bracket in order to do it, these are gonna be a great pick for you. Now these will accommodate a 49 1/2 inch to a 50 1/2 inch light bar up at the top and accommodate smaller pod lighting at the bottom. If you're looking to customize your lighting setup for your preferred look and visibility. This will also be a great pick if you're looking for a uniquely styled option with some sportier touches compared to some no-frill choices.Again, this will feature an upper light mount for your preferred windshield light bar, which is gonna be pretty standard across the board. Now midway down, this will have a lower pod light mounting surface. And what I think is notable about this option is that it's not just a tab like some other choices available on the page. Now this will have a box-light construction with a mount at the top and a mounting hole down at the bottom. So you can mount up two lights on one mount and configure this however you want for a little bit of a personalized touch. Not to mention this will come with multiple cutouts on the body of the bracket and a logo at the top for some unique styling. The brackets will be made of 3/16-inch steel being durable and rigid to support the lighting. Now speaking of the support, I like how this will now completely cover the cowl, offering more of a minimal appearance compared to some other choices. Now on the top, this is gonna have a textured black powder coat finish, and you're also gonna get a foam gasket to install on the inside to prevent any surface scratching on the paint. These brackets will also utilize the factory mounting holes, but do come with new hardware that is a little bit longer for an OE style fit. These will come in at roughly $200 for the kit, and I think that's pretty fair for the features that you're getting here. Now, compared to other choices, this will provide you the flexibility to customize your setup and offer a unique look when doing so. Other options in the category may not include the dual mounting locations down at the bottom or the styling that this does, making this a great choice if you wanna stand out and want a little bit of flexibility when it comes to your lighting setup.Install will be a super easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you about 45 minutes to get the job done with some basic hand tools. Now, speaking of the install, one of our customers here has actually installed this on their JT and is gonna walk you through that process step by step. So that wraps it up for me. Let's go ahead and get into it.Male Speaker: Okay, here's the tools that you'll need for the install today. My Jeep came with the appropriate star bits and ratchet already in my Jeep. You're gonna need a T40 size and you're also gonna need a T50 size if yours didn't come with it, and also the ratchet that goes with it. You might have a pair of scissors around because you are going to have the gasket that are installed to protect the paint. You might have to do some trimming if you get it a little crooked or something so you might wanna have some scissors. And also a hammer or a dead-blow just to loosen up the bolts as I'll show in the video just in case, make it a little easier to get 'em out.All right, today we're gonna be installing the Prevail Series Mounting Brackets with Upper and Lower Light Mounts for a '20 to '22 Jeep Gladiator JT. When you get 'em delivered, you're gonna have the driver's side and the passenger side. Each one's a pretty simple install today. You're gonna have three of these gaskets that are to protect the paint. You'll have three for each side. So make sure you don't throw any of those away. Each side will also have the smaller of the three bolts here will go onto actually the bracket for the windshield to be lowered and then the other two will go right into the side of your Jeep.First thing you do is you're gonna want to install the gaskets. So again, there's a left and right side that's pretty easy to put 'em on there because it's gonna be pretty easy to install on here, line 'em up. So you want to like I did there, you just wanna flip 'em around until you get the pieces that are gonna line up. And if you look all of the cutouts that are already machined into this or cut into it will help you line it up pretty easy. So peel the backing off and you're gonna line those up like that. All right, there's one. This one's gonna go on the opposite face. And just get close to the edge here. You don't have to have exact. This is actually gonna not really be seen. It's just there in case where it can get up against your paint. And then, let's see, last one right here. All right, I'll go prep the driver's side and come back to the other one. All right, first thing I'm gonna do is take my T50 and go ahead and put it into the windshield edge. Okay, there's paint on there, so I'm gonna get a little tap. And I'm a just slightly tap to make sure I loosen it up a little bit. And it's not hard to break free. All right, you see the new one is a little bit longer. So you'll keep those in the case you ever need to take them back off. Now we're gonna go the T40 and again, I'm gonna give a little tap on here so loosen those up. All right.Same thing on this one. The ones that come with the kit are gonna be a little bit longer. So you wanna keep these for later if you ever decide to take them back off. We'll start off with the longer ones. Get 'em loosely connected in there. Again, that's why you've got the padding on there, those gaskets that go on there so you don't have to worry about scratching paint. So just get the first one connected by a couple threads then install the second one. Make sure you keep 'em all loose or you're not gonna be able to get 'em lined up.All right, I'm sure I've got a few threads started. I'll go with my T40 and the ones at the bottom. Get that snug but not too tight [inaudible 00:09:01.686] support. I don't have to overtighten this one too much because I have that one blocked. [inaudible 00:09:17.747] so it's getting nice and tight there. Now we're done. And then we can go back to our T40 and go ahead and finish tightening this up.There you go. Nice and solid. Be exactly the same thing from the other side. And then you'll be able to come back and mount your light bar of your choice and you also got the spot here for the actual spotlight down here at the bottom. And that completes the install today. Thank you.Merideth: So that is going to wrap it up for my review and the install of the Prevail Series Mounting Brackets with the Upper and Lower Light Mounts, fitting all 2020 and newer JT Gladiators.
