Description
HIGH-CLEARANCE REAR BUMPER. The Legacy Big 10" aluminum rear bumper is a custom-fit upgrade designed to significantly improve departure angle clearance for the Jeep Gladiator JT. Engineered to replace the factory bumper with a system that enables tougher rock crawling and off-road trails, the bumper maintains tow hitch functionality and presents a clean, integrated appearance that showcases precision craftsmanship.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This bumper features a 3/16" 5052 aluminum outer skin chosen for its excellent corrosion resistance and strength-to-weight ratio, combined with a 3/16" steel crossmember where recovery and towing loads concentrate. The modular design includes replaceable skins, end caps, and aluminum bed caps that cover trimmed bed corners to create a professional, seamless finish.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires trimming of the truck’s bed sides to achieve the engineered clearance improvements. The process demands moderate mechanical skill, with all necessary instructions provided. No custom fabrication beyond trimming is necessary.
