Description
Vehicle Specific Upgrade. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 3.5in Rear 2.0 VS RR is a high-performance shock absorber engineered to enhance rear suspension capabilities on your vehicle. It delivers improved handling and ride quality for both daily driving and off-road use, providing durable support and increased control. This shock is designed to reduce damper fade and maintain consistent performance under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This shock absorber features a nitrogen-charged monotube design with a remote reservoir for additional oil capacity and superior heat dissipation. The shaft is made from 5/8 inch chrome-plated hardened steel, ensuring resistance to corrosion and surface pitting. Key components such as the rod end, top cap, and internal parts are crafted from 6061 aluminum for strength and durability, complemented by a 6063 anodized aluminum body and reservoir tubing that offers excellent corrosion resistance and a modern, high-tech look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with OE factory-type fitment, requiring no special modifications or drilling. It is designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the rear suspension system, suitable for users with basic mechanical skills.
