Description
Advanced Off-Road Suspension. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics RXT Rear 2.5 Series Shocks VS deliver exceptional control and comfort for Toyota Tundra models equipped with 5.7L engines. These shocks provide dynamic compression damping adjustments to optimize performance on varying terrain, enhancing both off-road capability and daily driving comfort.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 6061 billet aluminum with hard anodized, impact-extruded cylinders, these shocks feature a corrosion-resistant finish for durability. The design incorporates a remote reservoir and a 7/8-inch induction hardened, chrome-plated shaft, with premium internal components machined to precise tolerances for consistent performance.
Installation. Installation requires Multi-Rate Leaf Springs and the ICON Intelligent Control kit, as well as front CDEV coilovers. No drilling is needed when mounted in the factory location, but professional installation is recommended due to system complexity.
