Fabricated Using Heavy-Duty Steel. For maximum strength and durability, this Gen-Y Hitch The Boss 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Bolt-On Pintle Plate with 5.50-Inch Drop is fabricated using heavy-duty steel. This makes the pintle plate capable of handling up to 16,000 pounds of load without cracking or bending. Furthermore, its construction is fortified with a zinc primer and epoxy powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion.
