Description
Performance Chambered Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Center Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and Outlet delivers a powerful and aggressive exhaust note combined with excellent performance for high horsepower vehicles. Designed for both street and strip applications, it features Delta Flow® technology that enhances exhaust flow and reduces interior resonance.
Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welding to ensure durability and resistance to corrosion. It features an oval shape finished with high-temperature paint for added protection and a sleek black appearance that withstands harsh conditions.
Installation. Installation is moderately easy thanks to slip-fit inlet and outlet connections designed for clamp-on or weld-on mounting. No drilling is required, but new hangers must be used as existing ones are not included.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicle types including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic muscle cars, late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. Some adaptation may be required to ensure proper fitment.
