The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with a 2.50-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet is engineered to improve exhaust flow while producing an aggressive exhaust note. It is ideal for highway driving, street performance, and strip use, offering enhanced scavenging and a milder exterior tone with reduced interior resonance.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features fully MIG welded seams for superior strength and longevity. It is coated with a high-temperature black paint finish that resists heat and corrosion, improving both durability and appearance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections that support clamp-on or weld-on attachment. Some adaptation may be required to fit existing exhaust hangers, as new hangers are not included with this muffler.
