Description

The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.25-inch inlet and outlet diameters is designed to enhance exhaust flow while delivering a distinctive aggressive sound tone. The Delta Flow design offers improved scavenging and reduced interior resonance, making it ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a two-chamber Delta Flow design and fully MIG-welded construction for maximum strength and longevity. It is finished with high-temperature black paint to resist heat and corrosion while providing a professional appearance.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, compatible with clamp-on or weld-on mounting methods. Some adaptation may be required as this muffler uses new hangers which are not included. Typically, no drilling is necessary.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Fits universal with some adaptation needed to suit various 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late-model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs.
